Prod Order tab

You can specify this information on the Production Order tab:

Order Entry

The method to generate production order numbers. Possible values:

Auto-Generate: The number is generated automatically.
Manual: The number is specified by the user manually.
Auto-Generate if not Provided: The number is generated automatically unless specified manually by the user.

Allow Duplicate Production Orders (incrementing Production Run numbers)

If this check box is selected, duplicate production order numbers are allowed to exist.

Automatically release scheduled Jobs to production

If this check box is selected, the scheduled work orders are released to production automatically.

Close Jobs

The criteria used to close a job on a line. Possible values:

Automatically (Operations Complete): The jobs are closed automatically once all operations are complete.
Automatically (Order Quantity Satisfied): The jobs are closed automatically once the ordered quantity is met.
Manually: Jobs are closed manually by a user.
Other (Custom): The jobs are closed with a bespoke process. You must contact Infor project team or partner for assistance.

Close Order

The criteria used to close a production order. Possible values:

Automatically (Operations Complete): The orders are closed automatically once all jobs are finished.
Automatically (Order Quantity Satisfied): The orders are closed automatically once the required quantity is met.
Manually: The orders are closed manually by a user.
Other (Custom): The orders are closed with a bespoke process. You must contact Infor project team or partner for assistance.

Production Order Quality Release Status

Should Orders have their quality status automatically changed to Released on Order Complete?: If this check box is selected, the quality status of a completed production order is automatically updates to Released when the order is complete.
Block Order Release until it’s in the Complete state?: If this check box is selected, releasing of a production order is not allowed until the production order is complete.
Block Order Release if there are jobs that have been Quality Released: If this check box is selected, releasing a production order is not allowed until all the associated jobs have been quality released.

Should Jobs have their Quality status automatically changed to Released on Job Complete?: If this check box is selected, the quality status of a completed job automatically updates to Released once the job is complete.
Block Job Release if there are outstanding Event Based checks?: If this check box is selected, job releases are blocked if outstanding event-based checks exist.
Block Job Release if there are Unacknowledged Inspection Alarms?: If this check box is selected, job releases are blocked if inspection alarms are open.
Block Job Release if there are Unacknowledged A Typical Events?: If this check box is selected, job releases are blocked if a typical events are open.
Block Job Release if there are any Checklist items not done?: If this check box is selected, job releases are blocked if checklist items are not answered.
Block Job Release if there are any Checklist items answered false?: If this check box is selected, job releases are blocked if checklist items are answered as False.
