Adding a sign in restriction
- Select Configuration > Skills Matrix > Skills. The Skills screen is displayed.
- Select a record and click Sign In Restrictions. The Sign In Restrictions screen is displayed at the bottom.
- Click Add. The Add window is displayed.
- Specify this information on the Skill Restriction tab:
- Skill Type

The action to which the skill restriction applies. Possible values:
- Load and Change Tool
- Not Applicable
- Perform Inspection
- Perform Maintenance
- Sign In
- Start Job
- Skill Importance

A classification that indicates whether a skill is mandatory or preferred to perform the action. Possible values:
- Competent Only
- Preferred
- Trainees
Note:- If this field value is set to Trainees or Competent Only, the skill is required to perform the action.
- If this field is set to Preferred, the skill is not required when the action is performed. If the skill is missing, the application raises an alarm.
- Skill
- The skill associated with the skill restriction.
- Effective Date
- The date from which the skill restriction is applicable.
- Expiry Date
- The date and time from which the skill restriction is not applicable.
- Specify this information on the Line tab:
- Line Type
- The line type that applies to the skill.
- Line
- The line that applies to the skill.
- Specify this information on the Skill To Sign In tab:
- Machine Type
- The machine group that applies to the skill.
- Machine
- The machine that applies to the skill. This field is displayed only if you select a value in the Machine Type field.
- Click OK.
