Logistics Configuration

The chapter provides information on configuring the master data related to logistics. This configuration is based on the settings defined in the core model.

It is recommended that you configure the master data in this sequence to set up the logistics settings:

  1. Define Warehouses and Supermarkets as machines, if required. See, Warehouses and Supermarket.
  2. Configure Suppliers. See, Suppliers.
  3. Configure Customers and, if required for reporting purposes, create Customer Groups. See, Customers and Customer Groups.
  4. Create Movement Request Definitions, if applicable. See, Movement Request Definitions.
