Assigning a task

You can add tasks to cards and assign using the configuration panel. These tasks display pinned primary, secondary, and additional tasks.

To create and assign a task to a card:

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click an existing dashboard. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Click Edit. A confirmation prompt is displayed.
  4. Click Confirm.
  5. Select a topic from the Select a Topic section. The Select a Data Source section is displayed.
  6. Select a data source from the Data Source section. The Select a Widget Types section is displayed.
  7. Select the card widget from the Widget Types section. The Add New icon is displayed.
  8. Drag and place the Add New icon on the dashboard. The Card Builder screen is displayed.
  9. Select the Task bar. The Configure Tasks section is displayed.
  10. Click Open Task Picker. The Allocate Tasks window is displayed.
  11. Drag the task from the Tasks column to one of the three available columns.
    Note: You can click the Description check box to view the description for all the available tasks.
  12. Click Confirm.
  13. Click Save.
