Adding a dashboard

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click Create New Dashboard. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    The name of the dashboard.
    Description
    The description of the dashboard.
    Visibility
    The visibility of the dashboard. Possible values:
    • System: The dashboard is part of the core MES system and is maintained by the core MES team, during upgrades. You can view or copy these dashboards.
    • Site: The dashboard is created and managed by the customers team. You can view, modify, or copy these dashboards.
    • Package: The dashboard is created by the services team for the customer deployment. You can view or copy these dashboards.
    Filter Data Source
    The data source to filter widgets on the dashboard. These data sources include filter in the name.
    Title Glossary Term
    The glossary term used for the dashboard title. This title is displayed on the Dashboard Library screen and in the tab header when you click the Preview option on the Dashboard Builder screen.
    Title Glossary Property
    The glossary term property used as the title. By default, this value is displayed when you specify the Title Glossary Term field.
  4. Click Save.
