Creating a bespoke card

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click an existing dashboard tile. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Click Edit. A confirmation prompt is displayed.
    Note: If the selected dashboard is in the Draft status, the Edit option is not displayed.
  4. Click Confirm.
  5. Select a topic from the Select a Topic section. The Select a Data Source section is displayed.
  6. Select a data source from the Data Source section. The Select a Widget Types section is displayed.
  7. Select the card widget from the Widget Type section. The Add New icon is displayed.
  8. Drag and place the card icon on the dashboard. The Card Builder screen is displayed.
  9. Configure the required information.
    Note: These are the available widget types in the Bespoke card:
    • Text
    • Icon
    • Document
    • Percentage Bar
  10. Click Save.
    Note: Each widget has a different configuration panel and requires mandatory fields that you must specify before saving the widget to the card canvas.

You can perform these actions on the Card Builder screen:

  • Resize a card: Use a resize indicator in the bottom-right of the card. The card scales up or down to fit the dashboard layout, and the content on the card adjusts automatically to the new size.
  • Arrange cards: Select the card and drag to a new location. If a card cannot fit in the available space, a red indicator is displayed.
  • Remove a card: Use the x icon in the top right of the card to delete the card.
  • Create a carousel or a tabbed container: Drag a card widget onto one of the widgets on the dashboard to create a carousel or a tabbed container.
