Adding a card

The Card widget displays data a visual format. You can assign regular tasks and hero tasks to each card. Hero tasks are items located below the widget, outside of the card, and are configured in the Card Widget panel.

To add a card widget:

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click the required dashboard. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Click Edit. A confirmation window is displayed.
  4. Click Ok. The Select a Topic section is displayed.
  5. Click the required topic. The Select a Data Source section is displayed.
  6. Click the required data source. The Select a Widget Type section is displayed.
  7. Click Card. The Select a Card section is displayed.
  8. Drag and drop the Cards option from the Select a Card section to the dashboard. The Grid Card Builder screen is displayed.
  9. Specify this information:
    Hide Title?
    If this check box is selected, the title of the card widget is not displayed.
    Grid Type
    The data to be displayed on the widget. Possible values:
    • Full: All tasks and filters related to the data source are displayed.
    • Simple: Only records without tasks or filters are displayed.
    Hero Tasks
    The task located at the bottom of the widget and not linked to the card. You cannot specify in this field. The information is displayed based on the hero tasks you selected from the Open Task Picker window.
    Open Task Picker
    The hero tasks linked to the widget. When you click this option, The Allocate Tasks window is displayed. You can select and drag the required tasks to the Hero Tasks column. The selected tasks are displayed in the Hero Tasks field.
  10. Click Save.
