Adding a KVP

The Key Value Pair (KVP) widget displays selected output fields and the related data from the selected data source.

To create a KVP widget:

  1. Select Application Configuration > Configuration > Application > Dashboard Library. The Dashboard Library screen is displayed.
  2. Click the required dashboard. The Dashboard Builder screen is displayed.
  3. Click Edit. A confirmation window is displayed.
  4. Click Ok. The Select a Topic section is displayed.
  5. Click the required topic. The Select a Data Source section is displayed.
  6. Click the required data source. The Select a Widget Type section is displayed.
  7. Click KVP. The Select a KVP section is displayed.
  8. Drag and drop the Add New option from the Select a KVP section to the dashboard. The Configure KVP Widget section is displayed.
  9. Specify this information:
    Hide Title?
    If this check box is selected, the title of the KVP widget is not displayed.
    Data Source
    The data source linked to the widget. This field is read-only and cannot be modified.
    Font Size
    The font size of the widget.
    Click Action Area
    The location that opens when you click the widget. For example, if you set this field to Overview, clicking the widget takes you to the Dashboard Overview screen.
  10. Click Save.
