Energy Configuration

This chapter provides information on configuring the master data related to the energy functionality. This configuration is based on the settings defined in the core model.

It is recommended that you configure the master data in this sequence to set up the Energy settings:

  1. Configure Meter Types Settings and base units. See, Meter Type Settings.
  2. Configure Meter Categories, Meters, and Meter Items. See, Meter Categories, Meters, and Meter Items.
  3. Configure Meter Specs for the meter items. See, Meter Specs.
  4. Define Energy Profiles, if required. See, Energy Profiles.
  5. Configure Meter Groups and assign the appropriate meters, if required for reporting purposes. See, Meter Groups.
