Maintenance Configuration

This chapter provides information on configuring the master data related to the maintenance.

It is recommended that you configure the master data in this sequence to set up the Maintenance settings:

  1. Configure Maintenance Material Types and Maintenance Materials. See, Maintenance Material Types and Maintenance Materials.
  2. Define Shutdown Calendars, if required. See, Shutdown Calendars.
  3. Define Budget Periods, if required. See, Budget Periods.
  4. Define Common Faults. See, Common Faults.
  5. Define Maintenance Procedures, Work Steps and Planned Hours. See, Maintenance Procedures and Planned Hours.
  6. Configure Maintenance Procedure Groups and assign the appropriate maintenance procedures, if required for reporting purposes. See, Maintenance Procedure Groups.
