Name Template tab

On this tab, you can configure identifier generation for production orders, bills of materials, inventory, and logistics information.

The name templates are configured using a combination of plain text and contexts. Contexts are configured by wrapping the context name in two dollar characters.

For example, the template ORDER_$$PartNumber$$_$$YYMMDDHHMI$$ results in the production order number ORDER_123456_2509151015 when the part number is 123456 and the order is started at 10:15 on the 15th of September 2025.

Production Order Number Template
The template used to generate production order numbers. Available contexts:

BOM Variant Name Template
The template used to generate Bill Of Material (BOM) name. Available contexts:

Create Pack # Template
The template used to generate inventory pack numbers for created inventory. Available contexts:

Customer Unique Key Template for Inventory Pack
The template used to generate a customer-specific unique key for an inventory pack. Available contexts:

The template used to generate inbound delivery numbers. Available contexts:

Inbound Delivery Template Delivery Entry
The method to assign inbound delivery numbers. Possible values:
  • Auto-Generate: The number is generated automatically.
  • Manual: The number is specified by the user manually.
  • Auto-Generate if not Provided: The number is generated automatically unless specified manually by the user.
Inbound Order Template
The template used to generate inbound order numbers. Available contexts:
  • Supplier
  • Index
  • WeekNumber

The method to generate inbound order numbers. Possible values:
  • Auto-Generate: The number is generated automatically.
