Shifts

Shifts represent a time when a specific crew is working, with a defined start and end time. For example, the red crew works from 06:00 to 14:00.

The application manages shifts using concepts, such as shifts, crews, shift patterns, and shift sequences.

Each shift defines the working hours for a crew, and the application displays information on dashboards and in reports in the context of a shift.

If no crew is assigned, a non-working shift is used to fill the empty time gap. Gaps in the shift pattern are possible, however not recommended. A non-working shift can be changed to a working shift by assigning a crew, which supports weekend working or other unplanned shifts.
