Process Types

Process Types define the type of process executed in a production line. Multiple production lines that operate in the same manner can be grouped by the same process type.

Process Types are used to define key settings such as:

  • The type of process executed
  • The method for starting and rescheduling production runs
  • The transformation of materials
  • The creation of inventory
  • The impact of the process on defect maps
  • The form of input and output materials
