Departments

Departments represent a specific area in a factory and is primarily used for reporting purposes. Each machine is assigned to only a single department.

Departments can be configured to represent different types of groupings, such as:

• Areas with similar machines, for example:
  • Welding department
  • Assembly department
• Areas producing specific materials, for example:
  • Rear Axle department
  • Chassis Department
• Areas focused on a specific process, for example:
  • Mixing
  • Painting
• Physical areas in the factory, for example:
  • Hall 1
  • Hall 2
