BOM under consumption warning
The BOM under consumption warning mode defines how the application verifies whether the consumed quantity of material is lower than expected, based on the product output. Validation can occur during inventory creation or when the job ends.
The available options include:
- [None]: Under-consumption, validation is not performed for the material.
- Inventory creation: Validate the quantity of material consumed whenever new inventory is created. If the consumption quantity is lower than required the user is warned, however, users can continue to create inventory.
- Job end: Validate the quantity of material consumed when the production run is ended. If the consumption quantity is lower than required the user is warned, however, users can continue to end the production run.
The setting is applied to the material being consumed. A BOM can include multiple materials, each configured with a different under-consumption warning mode. This allows selective validation across materials.
