Shutdown Calendars

A shutdown calendar is used to support the scheduling of maintenance activities that can take place in planned shutdown periods. The calendar is defined for a line, or a set of machines, that all shut down on the same day.

Multiple shutdown calendars can be defined for different lines, or different sets of machines.

Maintenance work can optionally be scheduled to only occur on the shutdown days defined in the calendar. When enabled, the application automatically aligns maintenance activities with the closest shutdown day, based on the frequency defined for each procedure on the asset.

If procedures are aligned with a shutdown calendar, shutdown dates must be defined in the calendar. Else, future maintenance work cannot be scheduled.
