FIFO strategy

The FIFO (First In, First Out) strategy determines how inventory packs are selected during consumption based on a FIFO key. If the selected inventory pack does not match the expected FIFA order, the application can enforce one of these actions:

• Error: Consumption is not allowed when the selected pack does not meet FIFO requirements.
• Warning: A message is displayed to the user, however, users can proceed.
• Warning with acknowledgment: A warning message is displayed, and a justification comment is required before proceeding.
• None: FIFO rules are not applied during inventory consumption.

The FIFO strategy can be set as a plant wide setting or more specially on each material.
