Inventory Pack Number Generation Mode

Process Types define how inventory pack numbers are generated when created on production lines. The available options include:

• Automatically Generate Pack Numbers: The application automatically assigns a unique number to each inventory pack created on the production line. The format of the inventory pack number is generated using the configuration defined on the plant settings.
• Manually Enter Pack Numbers: Operators must manually specify the number for each inventory pack when created.
• Planned Inventory Packs: Operators scan the inventory pack number during creation. The application validates the scanned inventory pack number against the list of planned inventory packs. If the inventory pack number is not found, or has already been used, the operator cannot proceed.
