Assigning sub-tools for bodymakers

You can assign sub-tools to a bodymaker tool to build a functioning and usable bodymaker tool. To assign sub-tools:

  1. Select Home > Maintenance > Tool Dashboard. The Tool Management screen is displayed.
  2. Click the Tools option. The Tools area is displayed.
  3. Select a bodymaker tool and click Assign Sub Tools. The Assign Sub Tools window is displayed.
    Note: This option is displayed only if the master data is defined for the bodymaker progression table before assigning sub-tools. The progression table defines the valid combinations of sub-tools based on diameter.
  4. Select a diameter for the first sub-tool. The corresponding diameters are populated for the remaining sub-tools.
  5. Select a tool for each cavity.
  6. Click OK.
