Cavity State Reason Set
Cavity State Reason Sets are used to group Cavity State Reasons that are applicable to one or more tools. Manufacturing equipment can use different tool and cavity configurations; therefore, the applicable Cavity State Reasons can vary between individual tools.
Grouping Cavity State Reasons into sets allows the appropriate reasons to be associated with specific tools. The same reasons can be reused across multiple sets and processes, which improves data consistency and simplifies reporting.
A Cavity State Reason Set can maintain multiple Cavity State Reasons and can be assigned to multiple tools. Existing Sets can be copied to create new Sets. Reasons can then be added or removed from the copied set before assigning to the applicable tools.
A default Cavity State Reason Set can also be defined for each tool type. When a new tool is created, the default Cavity State Reason Set is assigned to the new tool.
When a Cavity State Reason is required during an operator action, only the reasons included in the Cavity State Reason Set assigned to the tool are available for selection.
