Assigning a sub-tool

  1. Select Home > Maintenance > Tool Dashboard. The Tool Management screen is displayed.
  2. Click the Tools option. The Tools area is displayed.
  3. Select a tool record and click Sub Tools. The Sub Tools window is displayed.
    Note: This option is enabled only if the Is this a tooling type that has Sub Tools? check box is selected for the tool type.
  4. Select a position to unassign a sub-tool from and click Manage Sub Tool. The Manage Sub Tool window is displayed.
  5. Specify this information in the New Tool section:
    Location
    The location used to filter the sub-tools available in the Tool field.
    Tool
    The sub-tool that is assigned to the parent tool.
  6. Click OK.
