Tool Allocation
The Tool Allocation report provides an overview of the tools required for production orders and the tools allocated to these orders. The report displays the expected tool positions defined in the routing alongside the actual tool allocations. This information enables production planners and tool management teams to identify missing allocations, tool conflicts, and other potential issues before production starts.
The report also provides tool condition and usage information, including lifetime usage, usage since the last repair, current usage, asset state, and end-of-life thresholds. This information helps teams assess whether an allocated tool is suitable for the production order or requires attention before production starts.
To view this report, within the menu, navigate to .
You can use these options on the Tool Allocation screen:
- : Allows you to allocate a tool to an expected tool position on a production run.
- : Allows you to remove a tool allocation from a production run.
