Changing the state of the Tool Cavity

You can change the state of cavities within a tool to indicate whether the cavity is usable.

  1. Select Home > Maintenance > Tool Dashboard. The Tool Management screen is displayed.
  2. Click the Tools option. The Tools area is displayed.
  3. Select a tool with cavities and click Tool Cavities. The Tool Cavities window is displayed.
    Note: This option is enabled only if the tool is not a toolpack or a sub tool and has a number of cavities greater than zero.
  4. Select a cavity and click Manage Cavity. The Manage Cavity window is displayed.
  5. Specify this information:
    State
    The new state of the cavity.
    Comments
    The additional information related to the cavity state change.
  6. Click OK.
