Filter Options

Use the Tool Base tab to define the scope of the report and specify how tool history and usage information is displayed.

These filters are displayed:

Mode

The scope of tool data to be included in the report. Possible values:

• Actions in this period: Displays tool events that occurred within the selected time frame.
• Current situation: Displays the status of tools, including the latest state, current location, and most recent usage information.

Report Mode

The way tool event data is displayed when the value in the Mode field is set to Actions in this period. Possible values:

• Transition: Displays each movement, state change, usage, or configuration change as a separate record.
• Status: Displays each unique combination of tool status information for the applicable period by combining overlapping events.

Actions

The type of tool history events to be included in the report. Possible values:

• Movement: Includes location change records for the tool.
• State Change: Includes asset state change records for the tool.
• Tool Usage: Includes production usage records for periods when the tool is loaded and unloaded from a machine.
• Configuration: Includes records of cavities and sub-tool configuration changes.

Split by Production Runs

The way in which the tool usage records are grouped. Possible values:

• Split by Production Runs: Displays a separate record for each production order for which the tool is used.
• Tool Load and Unload Periods: Combines consecutive usage records for the same machine and position into a single tool load and unload period.

Only show cavity and Sub Tool Changes

If this check box is selected, only the configuration records where the cavity status is changed, are displayed.

Show the next tool used in that position

If this check box is selected, the next tool loaded in the same position and the time between unloading the previous tool and loading the next tool is displayed.

Use the Time Frame tab to specify the period for which data is displayed in the report.

The value specified in the Date To Assess field limits the event records based on the date used for time frame filtering. Possible values:

• From: Includes events with a start date within the selected time frame.
• To: Includes events with an end date within the selected time frame.
• Between: Includes events that overlap with the selected time frame.

Use the Grouping tab to group report data into up to four levels and display summary information, including counts, and totals for each group. See for more details.

Use the Tool tab to filter tools based on plant, tool classification, tool grouping, tool change reason, and bodymaker-specific attributes.

These filters are displayed:

Plant

The manufacturing plant associated with the tool.

Tool Type

The type of the tool.

Tool Group

The tool group to which the tool belongs.

Tool Set

The tool set to which the tool belongs.

Tool

The specific tool for which history information is displayed.

Only Show

The category of tools to include. Possible values:

• Tools: Includes standard tools.
• Toolpacks: Includes tools classified as toolpacks.
• Sub Tools: Includes tools classified as sub-tools.

Tool Change Reason

The reason recorded when the tool is loaded or unloaded.

Bodymaker

Filters tools based on bodymaker classification.

Diameter

The current diameter of the tool.

Grade

The current grade of the tool.

Use the Property tab to filter the data and specify whether tool property information is included in the report by selecting the Show Tool Properties option.

Use the Counter tab to specify the asset counters and usage information to include in the report.

These filters are displayed:

Counter Sequence

The asset counter sequences to include in the report.

Include Usage Data

Controls whether lifetime, since last repair, or since last maintenance counters are included in the report.

Use the Equipment tab to filter the data based on the department, line, and machine information associated with tool usage.

These filters are displayed:

Department

The department associated with the machine on which the tool is used.

Line Group

The line group associated with the line on which the tool is used.

Line

The line on which the tool is used.

Machine Group

The machine group associated with the machine on which the tool is used.

Machine Type

The machine type associated with the machine on which the tool is used.

Machine

The machine on which the tool is used.

Use the Production tab to filter the data by a specific production order using the Order field and display the corresponding tool usage records.

Use the Material tab to filter the data based on the material type and material produced during tool usage.

These filters are displayed:

Material Type

The type of material produced during tool usage.

Material

The material produced during tool usage.

Use the Location tab to filter the data based on the previous and current location details associated with tool movements and events.

These filters are displayed:

Previous Location Type

The type of location associated with the tool before the event.

Previous Location

The location associated with the tool before the event.

Location Type

The type of location to which the tool moved or where the tool is currently located.

Location

The location to which the tool moved or where the tool is currently located.

Use the State tab to filter the data based on the previous and current asset states of the tool and the reason recorded for the state change.

These filters are displayed:

Previous State

The asset state of the tool before the state change.

State

The current or target asset state of the tool.

Reason

The reason recorded for the state change.

Use the Extended tab to filter the data based on extended fields associated with the material, tool, locations, machine, and line recorded for tool history and usage events.

These filters are displayed:

Material

The material associated with the production order for which the tool usage is recorded.

Tool

The tool for which the history event is recorded.

From Location

The location of the tool before the movement event.

To Location

The location to which the tool moved, or the current location of the tool at the time of the event.

Machine

The machine on which the tool usage is recorded.

Line

The production line associated with the tool usage record.
