Tool Counts

Tool Counts track production-related usage for tool assets when the tools are loaded into machines. When a tool is loaded into a machine, the tool asset counters are updated with the production counts captured for the machine, during the period the tool is used.

Note: A machine can have multiple asset counters configured that relevant to the machine. When a tool is loaded into the machine, the tool receives values from all the same asset counters, even if some counters are not relevant to the tool. In such scenarios, the counters that are not relevant to the tool can be ignored in reporting.
