Asset State Workflows
Asset State Workflows enable users to monitor which transitions are allowed between Asset States. A workflow defines a specific path that an asset can follow from one state to another and prevent invalid state transitions.
For example, a workflow can be used to:
- Ensure that an asset must always transitions through a cleaning or measuring activity before being available for reuse.
- Prevent an asset from transitioning out of an end-of-life state.
Multiple state workflows can be created, and each workflow must have a unique name. Each asset can be assigned only one active state workflow, however, the same workflow can be assigned to multiple assets when required.
