Introduction

This chapter provides an overview of the Assets module in Infor MES. The module supports the definition and management of factory assets, including facilities, production equipment, tools, gauges, containers, and equipment components.

This provides capabilities for organizing assets, monitoring the operational status and usage, recording the movement and history, and supporting maintenance, reporting, and life-cycle management activities.
