Energy Statuses

Energy Statuses associated with Stop Reason defines the physical operating state a machine is expected to be in during a downtime event attributed to that Stop Reason.

Energy Statuses can be configured only when the Energy module is licensed and enabled.

These energy status values are available:

• [None]: Energy tracking is not relevant to this Stop Reason.
• Off: The machine is expected to be turned off during the downtime, and no energy consumption is anticipated.
• Stopped: The machine is considered as stopped, however, energy may be consumed at a lower level.
• Running: The machine continues to consume energy, often at a level close to normal operation, even though the machine is stopped.

Energy Statuses help identify situations where energy is unexpectedly being consumed. The thresholds of energy usage for each Energy Status can be controlled through Meter Specs.
