Ending a job

You can stop the current job on a production line. To end a job:

  1. Click Stop from the operator dashboard. The Stop window is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Line
    The production line on which to end the production run.
    End
    The date and time when the production run ended.
    Schedule Remaining?
    If this check box is selected, the outstanding quantity is scheduled as a new production run. This check box is displayed only if the ordered quantity for current production run has not met.
    Delete all open packs?
    If this check box is selected, all in-progress inventory packs are deleted. This check box is displayed only if there are in-progress inventory packs on the running production run.
    Outstanding Workflow Actions
    The workflow actions that have not been completed in the production run. This field is displayed only for production orders that use workflow routings.
    Comments

    The additional information or notes related to ending the production run.

  3. Specify this information to return quantity stock if there are inventory packs being consumed on the running production run:
    Position #
    The machine input position where the inventory pack is consumed.
    Lot
    The lot of the inventory pack is consumed.
    Pack
    The inventory pack is consumed.
    Part #
    The material number of the inventory pack.
    Description
    The description of the material.
    Quantity
    The quantity in the inventory pack.
    Return Qty
    The quantity to return to stock.
    Unit
    The unit of measure.
    State
    The inventory state assigned to the pack upon return to stock.
    Location
    The location where the inventory pack is returned.
  4. Click OK.
    Note: This option is only available if the line is configured to allow the stopping of production runs.
