Filter Options
Time Frame
Use the Time Frame tab to limit results to scrap records recorded within a specific date and time range. See .
The time frame filters the date and time of the scrap records.
Grouping
Use the Grouping tab to organize and aggregate scrap data into meaningful categories for analysis and reporting. See .
Equipment
Use the Equipment tab to narrow results to scrap records associated with specific manufacturing plants, departments, production lines, or machines. These options are available on the Equipment tab:
- Plant
- The manufacturing plant of the machine for which the scrap is recorded.
- Department
- The department of the machine for which the scrap is recorded.
- Line Group
- The line group of the line on which the machine belongs to, against which the scrap was recorded.
- Line
- The line of the machine for which the scrap is recorded.
- Machine Group
- The machine group of the machine for which the scrap is recorded.
- Machine Type
- The machine type of the machine for which the scrap is recorded.
- Machine
- The machine for which the scrap is recorded.
Production
Use the Production tab to limit results to scrap records associated with specific production orders. These options are available on the Production tab:
- Production Order
- The production order during which the scrap is recorded.
Material
Use the Material tab to narrow results to scrap records associated with specific materials or material types. These options are available on the Material tab:
- Material Type
- The material type of the material which is scrapped.

- The material which is scrapped.
More
Use the More tab to refine results based on scrap reasons, scrap sources, quantity thresholds, retired master data, and records with unknown or missing scrap reasons. These options are available on the More tab:
- None Reason

The inclusion setting for scrap records that do not have a scrap reason assigned. Possible values:
- Include
- Exclude
- Only
- Scrap Reason Group
- The group of the reason for the scrap.
- Scrap Reason
- The reason for the scrap.
- Sources

The source of scrap to display. Possible values:
- Scrap: Defective product produced and rejected.
- Rework: Product subjected to rework to satisfy acceptance criteria.
- Unknown Scrap Reasons Only?
- If this check box is selected, only scrap records with unknown reasons are displayed.
- Include Retired
- If this check box is selected, scrap for retired master data is displayed.
- Minimum Quantity
- The minimum scrap quantity included in the report.
- Maximum Quantity
- The maximum scrap quantity included in the report.
