Production Order Status
Use the Production Order Status report to monitor the execution progress of production orders. The report provides visibility into active and completed orders, review production performance, identify exceptions requiring attention, and gain visibility into schedule adherence and the overall flow of work through the manufacturing process. The production order status report is also often used as the basis to define information for operational dashboards.
Use this report to:
- Monitor the progress of active production orders.
- Review the status of manufacturing operations.
- Identify stalled or delayed production orders.
- Analyze production performance and throughput.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) across the manufacturing process.
- Investigate production execution exceptions.
To view this report, within the menu, navigate to .
You can perform these tasks:
- Start Next: Start the next production order in the queue for the selected line.
- Stop: Stop the current production order.
- Finish Setup: Mark the line setup as complete. Setting up includes arranging machines, equipment, and personnel.
- Finish Ramp-Up: Mark the line ramp-up process as complete. Ramp-up activities include bringing machines to the required operating temperature or speed.
- Explain: Record the reason for the production stop.
- Start New: Create a new production order.
- Add Comment: Add comments to a production order.
- Comments: View comments assigned to the production order.
- Add: Add a user to add a production order.
