Machine Stops vs. Production Stops

A machine can continue to stop and start during a production stop. These stops are recorded in MES and can be reviewed in reports. However, when reporting downtime, by default, Production Stops take precedence over Machine Stops and always take precedence when calculating downtime-related KPIs.

This approach ensures that if there are changes to the production stop data after machine stops are recorded, the underlying data is unaffected. Only the reporting perspective is adjusted to reflect the updated information.
