Production Order Materials

Use the Production Order Materials report to analyze the relationship between inventory consumed and inventory produced during manufacturing operations. Commonly known as a "Where Used" report, users can trace material usage throughout the production process.

With this report, users can:

• Filter by consumed inventory to identify the inventory items that are produced using the materials.
• Filter by produced inventory to determine which inventory items are consumed during the manufacturing of a finished product.
• Apply lot-based filters to trace the consumption and production history of specific inventory lots.

To view this report, within the menu, navigate to Reports > Library > Production Orders > Basic > Production Order Materials.

You can perform these tasks:

• Edit Silo Consumption: Consume material from a silo.
• Consumed Inventory: View the inventory consumed at a point in a process.
• Verify: Verify that the material being consumed exists in the Bill of Materials and has an inventory traceability setting of Material Verification.
• Rework: Mark inventory as re-worked to indicate that corrective action has been performed and the inventory is acceptable.
• Consume Inventory: Consume inventory.
• Unload Inventory: Unload the pack from an inbound delivery.
