Filter Options

Use the Time Frame tab to define the date and time range for the downtime data displayed in the report. See .

The time frame filters the date and time of the downtime event.

If the Stops In Period Only check box is selected, only downtime events where the complete event duration is within the selected time frame are included in the report results.

Use the Grouping tab to aggregate, organize and summarize report data based on the selected criteria. This filter supports multiple grouping options to analyse trends and aggregate results. See .

These options are available on the Grouping tab:

Include Running Totals

If this check box is selected, running totals are included in grouped results.

Split by Production Order

Determines how machine stops that span multiple production orders are represented in the report. Possible values:

• Show the production order details at the start of the stop: The machine stop is reported as a single event, with details from the production order that is running when the stop begins.
• Split the stop into the durations spent on each production order: The machine stop is split at production order boundaries, with each segment displaying details for the production order active during that portion of the machine stop.

Use the Equipment tab to narrow the report results to downtime events associated with specific manufacturing locations, production lines, and machines. These options are available on the Equipment tab:

Plant

The manufacturing plant o plant associated with the machine stop or production stop.

Department

The department associated with the machine stop or production stop.

Line Group

The line group linked with the line on which the job is running when the machine stop or production stop is recorded.

Line

The line on which the job is running when the machine stop or production stop is recorded.

Machine Group

The machine group associated with the machine involved in the machine stop or production stop.

Machine Type

The type of machine involved in the machine stop or production stop.

Machine

The machine on which the machine stop is recorded, or the machine associated with the job against which the production stop is recorded.

Use the Production tab to narrow the report results to downtime events associated with specific production orders. These options are available on the Production tab:

Production Order

The production order associated with the machine stop or production stop recorded in the report.

Use the Material tab to narrow the report results to downtime events associated with specific materials. These options are available on the Material tab:

Material

The material associated with the production order linked to the machine stop or production stop recorded in the report.

Use the Downtime filter to narrow the report results to downtime events based on stop reasons, categories, assistance types, and changeover performance criteria. These options are available on the Downtime filter:

Stop Reason Group

The stop reason group linked to the stop reason recorded for the machine stop or the production stop.

Stop Reason Type

The stop reason type for the stop reason recorded for the machine stop or the production stop.

Machine Stop Reason

The stop reason recorded for the machine stop.

Stop Reason Class

The stop reason class for the stop reason recorded for the machine stop.

Category

The category assigned to the machine stop or production stop.

Production Stop Reason

The stop reason recorded for the production stop.

Assistance Type

The assistance type associated with the machine stop or production stop.

Stop Relative To Job

Determines how the production stop duration is considered with respect to the time a job was running. Possible values:

• No Job: Represents time where no job was running on the line.
• Start Of Job: Represents time at the beginning of the job, such as Setup.
• End Of Job: Represents time detracting from the end of the job, such as Run-Down.

Show Only

The production stop changeovers to be included in the report based on the variance threshold. Possible values:

• Below Variance Threshold: Only include production stop changeovers where the percentage variance is below the negative variance threshold value.
• Within Variance Threshold: Only include production stop changeovers where the percentage variance is between the negative and positive variance threshold value.
• Over Variance Threshold: Only include production stop changeovers where the percentage variance is above the positive variance threshold value.

Variance Threshold

The maximum percentage by which a production stop changeover duration can vary from the target duration (0-100). This field value is used when filtering results based on variance.

Use the More tab to further refine the report results based on downtime event types, duration thresholds, machine characteristics, and reporting preferences. These options are available on the More tab:

Include

The type of downtime events to be included in the report. Possible values:

• Machine Stops: Includes only machine stop downtime events.
• Machine Stops & Production Stops: Includes the machine stop and production stop downtime events.
• Production Stops: Includes only production stop downtime events.
• Machine Stops & Out of Production Stops: Includes the machine stop and out of production stop downtime events.

Show Open Stops

Determines how open machine stop or production stop downtime events are handled in the report. Possible values:

• Include: Includes the open and closed downtime events.
• Exclude: Includes only closed downtime events.
• Only: Includes only open downtime events.

Setup Over-run

Determines how setup production stops that exceed the target setup duration are handled. Possible values:

• Include: Includes all setup production stops, regardless of whether the target setup duration was exceeded.
• Exclude: Includes only setup production stops that did not exceed the target setup duration.
• Only: Includes only setup production stops that exceeded the target setup duration.

Bottleneck

Determines how downtime events associated with bottleneck machines are handled. Possible values:

• Include: Includes downtime events for both bottleneck and non-bottleneck machines.
• Exclude: Includes only downtime events for non-bottleneck machines.
• Only: Includes only downtime events for bottleneck machines.

Include Stops Under Machine Threshold

Determines how downtime events below the machine threshold are handled. Possible values:

• Include: Includes all downtime events, regardless of duration.
• Exclude: Includes only downtime events whose duration exceeds the machine threshold.
• Only: Includes only downtime events whose duration is below the machine threshold.

Min Stop Duration (mins)

The minimum duration for a machine stop or production stop downtime event to include in the report.

Max Stop Duration (mins)

The maximum duration for a machine stop or production stop downtime event to include in the report.

Apply to Default Shift Machine Only

If this check box is selected, only downtime events recorded against machines designated as the default shift machine are included in the report.

Include Slow Speed States

If this check box is selected, machine stops where the machine stop reason is set as slow speed state are included in the report.

Include Excluded Time

If this check box is selected, machine stops and production stops where the stop reason is set as excluded time are included in the report.

Include Retired

If this check box is selected, machine stops or production stops where the machine, line or material is retired are included in the report.

Show Production Stops Against All Machines

If this check box is selected, production stops are reported for only the bottleneck machine or all machines for the line.

Downtime History Usage Statistics

If this check box is selected, the report displays the number of machine stop reason groups associated with the machine stop reason recorded for the machine stop.

Apply Min/Max and Stop Threshold tests to the reporting period only

If this check box is selected, minimum and maximum duration and the machine stop threshold filters are applied only to the proportion of the stop that falls within the selected reporting period, instead of the total stop duration.

Use the Extended tab to narrow the report results based on configured extended fields.

Production Order

The production order associated with the machine stop or production stop recorded in the report.

Job

The job associated with the machine stop or production stop recorded in the report.

Line

The line on which the selected job is running when the machine stop or production stop is recorded.

Machine

The machine on which the machine stop is recorded, or the machine associated with the job for which the production stop is recorded.

Material

The material associated with the production order linked to the machine stop or production stop is recorded.

Asset

The asset related to the maintenance request for the machine for which the machine stop is recorded.
