View the status of all machines by department or machine type
Use the Machine Status report to view the current status of machines within a specific department or for machines of a particular type.
To create this report, apply these filters:
- Select the required values in the Department, Department Group, and/or Machine Type fields on the Equipment tab.
- Run the report to view machine status information that matches the selected criteria.
- Optional: Use to add or remove columns as required.
- Optional: Use the visualization to view machine status information in a graphical format instead of a tabular report.
Create a saved grid for use as a data source for the dashboard builder
Use the Machine Status report as the basis for a saved grid that can serve as data source for a custom dashboard.
To create a saved grid, follow these steps:
- Select the required values in the Department, Department Group, and/or Machine Type fields on the Equipment tab.
- Run the report to view the required machine status data.
- Limit the report output to information related to the currently running order and its machine status.
- Right-click the report header and retain only columns related to machine status, material information, and order information.
- Click .
- Complete the required fields on the Save form. For detailed field definitions, refer to the MES User Guide.
Note:
- Scope cannot be changed after the report is saved and is typically set to All Users.
- Access can be set to Report or Dashboard. Refer to the field tooltip for additional information.
- Under Tasks, select only the actions relevant to machine and order status:
- Include: Start Next, Stop, Start New
- Pin: Start Next, Stop, Start New
- Click to save the grid.
