Production Performance
Use the Production Performance report to monitor key performance metrics for the lines and orders running on them. The report provides visibility into performance metrics, such as Availability %, Effectiveness %, Quality %, overall equipment utilization, and actual performance compared to performance targets. These metrics support the analysis of operational efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
To enable efficient reporting for multiple lines and extended time periods, the source data is accumulated and held in a cache in the MES database. This enables rapid reporting for time periods as short as a single hour (or part hour), including partial-hour intervals for a single production run and shifts. Other filter criteria can be applied if the filtering relates to the accumulated data. For example, production performance can be filtered by line, while attributes that are that are not included in the cached performance data, such as Machine Stop Reason, cannot be used as a filter. Grouping options can be applied to aggregate performance data across different reporting dimensions.

You can use these options on the Production Performance screen:
- Machine Stops: View the machine stops within the selected period.
- Production Stops: View the production stops within the selected period.
- Production: View and manage the produced counts within the selected period.
- Created: View and manage the created inventory packs within the selected period.
- Consumed: View and manage the consumed inventory packs within the selected period.
- Scrap: View and manage the scrap counts within the selected period.
- Rework: View and manage the rework counts within the selected period.
- Change Job: Modify the production run on the selected line.
- Line Activity: Manage the production details for the production order within the selected period.
- Job Corrections: Make corrections to production runs within the selected period.
- Labour: View and manage the manpower details for the production order within the selected period. This is where you can see the users signed onto a line.
- Labour Bookings: View and manage the labour bookings for the production order within the selected period. Labour bookings are bookings that record the time spent on production or non-production activities.
