Report Columns
When grouping the report, a column is displayed for each selected grouping level. You can view the additional columns through the column picker.
These columns are displayed by default:
- Plant: The manufacturing plant where the machine stops are recorded.
- Line: The production line to which the machines belong and where the machine stops are recorded.
- Machine: The machine for which the machine stops are recorded.
- Machine Stop Reason: The reason specified for the machine stop.
- Actual Busy Time: The total time the machine operated normally during the selected reporting period. Thus value excludes recorded machine stops and downtime events and is used to calculate MTBF.
- Stop Hours: The total duration, in hours, that the machine has been stopped during the reporting period.
- MTTR – Mean Time to Repair/Restore: The average time required to restore a machine to operation after a failure. This metric indicates how quickly breakdowns are resolved. Lower values indicate faster recovery from downtime.
- MTBF – Mean Time Between Failures: The average operating time between machine failures. This metric used to measure equipment reliability. Higher values indicate less frequent failures. This is the sum of Actual Unit Busy Time divided by the number of stop events.
- # Stops: The number of times the machine has stopped in the period.
