Production Order Quality Release State Mappings

Release State Mappings define the permitted transitions between Production Order Release States and identify the security roles authorized to perform such transitions.

Each mapping specifies:

• The current (From) Release State.
• The target (To) Release State.
• The security roles authorized to transition a Production Order between the specified states.

Optionally, a mapping can require one or more signatures before the transition is completed. The responsible Personnel Group, which contains the personnel authorized to provide the signatures, can also be specified. In addition, a short text prompt can be defined for display during the signing process.
