Starting a new production run

You can execute an ad-hoc production run for a production order.

To start a new production run:

  1. Click Start New from the operator dashboard. The Start New window is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Line
    The production line on which the production order is executed.
    Production Order
    The production order number.
    Material
    The material to produce.
    Bill of Materials
    The list of materials required to produce the production order.
    Routing
    The set of operations required to produce the production order.
    Customer
    The customer associated with the production order.
    Production Version
    The production version to use on the production order.
    Quantity Ordered
    The quantity to be produced.
    Pass Name
    The pass name of the operation.
    Line Group
    The line group assigned to the production run.
    Line Sections
    The line sections on which the operations are performed.
  3. Click OK.
    Note: This option is only available if the line is configured to allow the start of new production runs.
