Filter Options
Time Frame
Use the Time Frame tab to limit results to production order materials within a specific date and time range. You can also select to ignore the date range and return all available records. See .
The time frame filters the date and time of the production order materials.
The time frame settings can be ignored through the check box.
Grouping
Use the Grouping tab to organize report results into meaningful categories, making it easier to analyze material consumption and production relationships. See .
Equipment
Use Equipment tab to restrict results based on manufacturing assets such as plants, departments, line groups, production lines, machine groups, or individual machines. This helps focus the report on specific production areas. These options are available on the Equipment tab:
- Plant
- The manufacturing plant associated with the selected production orders.
- Department
- The department associated with the production lines on which the selected production orders are scheduled.
- Line Group
- The line group containing the production lines on which the selected production orders are scheduled.
- Line Type
- The type of production line on which the selected production orders are scheduled.
- Line
- The production line on which production runs for the selected production orders are scheduled.
- Machine Group
- The machine group containing the machines associated with production runs in the selected production orders.
- Machine Type
- The type of machine associated with production runs in the selected production orders.
- Machine
- The machine associated with production runs in the selected production orders.
Production
Use the Production tab to narrow results by production order details, including production order reference, status, machine position, rework activity, or specific production orders. These filters help analyze material usage for manufacturing runs. These options are available on the Production tab:
- Position Name
- The machine position at which the inventory is created or consumed.
- Production Order Reference
- The reference number assigned to the production order.
- Production Order Status

The current status of the production order. Possible values:
- Not Scheduled
- Scheduled
- In progress
- Stopped
- Complete
- Cancelled
- Deleted
- Production Order Options
- The production order category or condition, such as active production orders.
- Production Order
- The selected production order.
- Include Rework
- Determines whether rework production runs are included, excluded, or shown exclusively.
Created Inventory
Use the Created Inventory tab to find production orders that created specific inventory items. Filter by attributes such as material class, material type, material, lot number, pack number, or inventory state to trace finished goods and by-products. These options are available on the Created Inventory tab:
- Material Class
- The material class assigned to the created inventory.
- Material Type
- The material type assigned to the created inventory.
- Material
- The material associated with the created inventory.
- Lot
- The lot to which the created inventory belongs.
- Pack Number
- The pack number assigned to the created inventory.
- Inv State
- The current state of the created inventory.
Consumed Inventory
Use the Consumed Inventory tab to find production orders that consume specific materials. Filter by material class, material type, material, lot number, pack number, or inventory state to trace raw material and component usage. These options are available on the Consumed Inventory tab:
- Material Class
- The material class of the consumed inventory.
- Material Type
- The material type of the consumed inventory.
- Material
- The material of the consumed inventory.
- Lot
- The lot to which the consumed inventory belongs.
- Pack Number
- The pack number of the consumed inventory.
- Inventory State
- The inventory state of the consumed inventory.
More
Use More tab to refine report results with additional options such as completed consumptions, pack traceability, by-product inventory, BOM material display rules, tolerances, alternative BOMs, and current inventory restrictions. These settings provide greater control over how material relationships are displayed. These options are available on the More tab:
- Completed Consumption?
- The inclusion setting for completed consumption records.
- Pack Traceability
- The traceability requirement assigned to the inventory packs.
- Include By-Product Packs
- The inclusion setting for by-product inventory packs.
- Consumptions To Show

The consumptions to be displayed. Possible values:
- Show all materials in the BOM for the Order
- Only show materials valid for the selected Operations (Job)
- Display Tolerances
- If this check box is selected, bill of material tolerances is included in the report.
- Include Alternatives
- If this check box is selected, alternative bill of materials is included in the report.
- Restrict to current inventory?
- If this check box is selected, results are limited to inventory that is currently being created.
