Recording a scrap quantity

You can record a quantity of scrapped parts manually to support production performance calculations.

To record a scrap quantity:

  1. Click Add Scrap from the operator dashboard. A list of fields is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Date/Time
    The date and time the scrap occurred.
    Machine
    The machine that produced the scrap.
    Production Order
    The production order associated with the scrap.
    Material
    The material scrapped.
    Reason
    The reason for the scrap.
    Units
    The unit of measure of the scrap quantity.
    Quantity Scrapped
    The quantity of the scrap.
    Scrap Comments
    The additional information.
  3. Click OK.
