Change State

The change state transaction is used to change the current state of an inventory pack. Inventory states are used to reflect the usability of the inventory pack. While many inventory states are pre-configured in the application, new states can be added.

Every state change is recorded in the application, including the previous and new state, the duration spent in each state, and the reason for change. This information provides visibility into the status of an inventory pack throughout the inventory lifecycle and helps track how long the inventory pack remains in each state. See Inventory States.

For example, inventory pack A in the isolated state can be changed to the scrapped state.
