Adjust

The adjust transaction is used to modify the current quantity of an inventory pack. Every quantity adjustment is recorded in the application, providing a history of all adjustments that have been made to the inventory pack quantity .

However, the original quantity (the quantity recorded when the inventory pack is created or received) remains unchanged.

For example, inventory pack A with quantity of 100 can be adjusted to quantity 90.

Note: The application manages and automatically updates the current quantity of inventory packs during transactions such as material consumption. However the adjust transaction can be used to correct discrepancies identified during inventory verification activities, such as stock-take or cycle count.
