Replenishment Delivery

A Replenishment Delivery is used to fulfill a Replenishment Orders by delivering material from a supplying location to a destination location. Each Replenishment Delivery can include inventory picking activities, where Inventory Packs are assigned to the corresponding replenishment order Items. Once the required inventory packs are picked, these packs are delivered to the requested location and the replenishment delivery is completed.

When picking inventory packs for a Replenishment Delivery, inventory allocations and FIFO rules can be used to determine the inventory packs to be picked.

A replenishment order can be fulfilled through multiple deliveries. If the requested quantity is not delivered completely in the first delivery, the remaining quantity can be delivered through subsequent deliveries. If the requested quantity is not specified, more than the requested quantity can be delivered. Once the selected inventory packs are delivered to the destination location, the replenishment delivery is completed.

A replenishment order is completed only if sufficient inventory has been delivered to fulfil the requested quantity.
