Changing inventory state

You can change the state of an inventory pack to reflect its production and quality results, and as an optional reason for the state change. To change the state of an inventory:

  1. Select Reports > Inventory > Basic > Inventory In Stock. The Inventory In Stock screen is displayed.
  2. Select an inventory pack and click Change State. The Change State window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Change State
    The new state to assigned to the inventory pack.
    Print Label
    If this check box is selected a new label is printed for the inventory pack with the new state.
    Reason Group
    The group of the reason for changing the state of the inventory pack.
    Change State Reason
    The reason for changing the state of the inventory pack.
    Comments
    The additional information related to the reason for which the inventory pack state is changed.
  4. Click OK.
    Note: You can select up to five reasons for changing the state of an inventory pack.
