Outbound Order Items

An outbound order can include multiple materials. Each material requested in the Outbound Order is represented as an Outbound Order Item. This item defines the quantity of material requested by the customer.

Customers often place orders for large quantities of material. These orders can be fulfilled through multiple shipments over a period.

This approach reduces the number of orders that are required to be managed and also allows the materials to be delivered based on the requirement of the customer rather than in a single shipment.

For example, a single outbound order can be created for multiple beverages can designs requested by a customer:
