Splitting inventory

To separate an inventory pack into multiple smaller inventory packs:

  1. Select Reports > Inventory > Basic > Inventory In Stock. The Inventory In Stock screen is displayed.
  2. Select an inventory pack and click Split. The Split window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    New Split Pack #
    The new number of the inventory pack created from the split transaction.
    Split Quantity
    The quantity removed from the original inventory pack and assigned to the new inventory pack.
    Inventory State
    The inventory state assigned to the new split inventory pack.
    Location
    The location of the new split inventory pack.
    Comments
    The additional information related to the split inventory pack.
    Print New Labels
    If this check box is selected, a new label is printed for the inventory pack.
  4. Click OK.
