Scrapping inventory

To remove the quantity of an inventory pack from stock due to defects, damage, or quality issues.

  1. Select Reports > Inventory > Basic > Inventory In Stock. The Inventory In Stock screen is displayed.
  2. Select an inventory pack and click Scrap. The Scrap window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Quantity Scrapped
    The quantity to be scrapped from the inventory pack.
    Print New Labels
    If this check box is selected , a new label is printed for the inventory pack.
    Reason Group
    The group of the reason for scrapping the inventory pack.
    Change State Reason
    The reason for scrapping the inventory pack.
    Comments
    The additional information related to the reason why the inventory pack is scrapped.
  4. Click OK.
    Note: You can select up to five reasons for scrapping an inventory pack.
