Variable display plan

You can use the variable display plan specify the order in which the variables should be displayed within the spreadsheet on the data entry page.

Displayed using exactly the same syntax as the variable step plan, it specifies a detailed cell by cell display plan for each variable, head, sample, and position. You can use this to ensure the measurements made against each sample in a set is mapped back to an original piece of material from which the samples were taken.

For example, if a sheet of material is cut into multiple pieces in a number of cutting operations, then it would benefit the operator to know how each sample was laid out originally, to determine the location of any tolerance violations.
