Inspection status

Infor MES tracks and manages the status of the inspection.

This table shows the Inspections states:

Status Description
Not due The event that triggers the inspection has occurred but the check is not due immediately.

For example, if an inspection is required thirty (30) minutes after starting a new production run, then it is created when the new production run starts but it is not due for the first thirty (30) minutes.

Due The inspection is due and can be seen and performed.
Overdue The inspection is overdue but can still be seen and performed, and is still counted in the conformance figures.
Expired The inspection was not completed in time, is expired, and cannot be performed. It is removed from the queue.

After check has expired it is not possible to retrospectively complete the check. Expired checks negatively affect the conformance KPIs.

Complete The check has been performed.
Suspended The check was started but the inspection was paused. The suspended check can be resumed at a later date. Suspended checks are started in time, so do not expire.
Cancelled The inspection will not be performed and is cancelled. An inspection can be cancelled at any time.
